After the active week I had, a restful day in Whitby was my little reward. The weather was gorgeous, and I kept meeting people from the walk all day. On the bus, inside the Abbey, and by the famous 199 steps. Alby kindly came over to show me around and we spent a few hours walking around the most famous places. From dining in the UK's best fish and chips restaurant to witnessing a large pod of dolphins just by the pier, everything was just amazing. Thank you, Alby, for making a huge difference to my trip and for all your kindness.

I really enjoyed seeing the connection between Whitby and Transylvania everywhere. I think there were more Dracula shops and goodies on sale here than in Transylvania. It made me giggle. Reading a book right next to the stunning Abbey with the cliff and sea to the side was a perfect way to end the day. This holiday was everything I hoped for, some things I didn't expect and more than I ever wanted. I feel physically exhausted and mentally recharged and I can't wait for the next one. Soon .... ish

Traveling is my happy place—there's nothing quite like the thrill of being in the middle of nowhere with nothing but my backpack, the open trail, and my own thoughts. Give me 12 hours of hiking, a lot of water, a little food, and a whole lot of unknown, and I’m completely in my element. I’m proud to say I don’t exactly fit the mold—maybe I’m a little wild, definitely adventurous, possibly a bit of a lunatic, and 100% alive. I believe life is meant to be lived, not watched from the sidelines. So here I am, chasing joy, chasing trails, and occasionally chasing my own sanity.
Come along for the ride! Dive into my stories and see the world the way I do—one unforgettable adventure at a time.
