Newburn to Wallsend, Newcastle- 13.2 miles

I DID IT 😃😃😃 101.3 miles in total, absolutely exhausted, in pain, bit purple, several pounds lighter but very proud 😎 The day started off with a gorgeous sunrise and a pleasant surprise: more green via parks and quayside and minimal amount of city scene. The last few miles were total agony but at 15.35pm I successfully completed the Hadrian's wall walk 😀. A great adventure I'll never forget. It was an absolute delight meeting Amy and Lucas at the museum, guys I've met at Bowness on Solway on my very first day, 😃😃😃 they booked dinner in advance next to my hotel, lovely coincidence, so we shared a lovely dinner while sharing our struggles and stories.

What a journey, what an adventure and what an absolutely joy to have been able to do it :)

Traveling is my happy place—there's nothing quite like the thrill of being in the middle of nowhere with nothing but my backpack, the open trail, and my own thoughts. Give me 12 hours of hiking, a lot of water, a little food, and a whole lot of unknown, and I’m completely in my element. I’m proud to say I don’t exactly fit the mold—maybe I’m a little wild, definitely adventurous, possibly a bit of a lunatic, and 100% alive. I believe life is meant to be lived, not watched from the sidelines. So here I am, chasing joy, chasing trails, and occasionally chasing my own sanity.
Come along for the ride! Dive into my stories and see the world the way I do—one unforgettable adventure at a time.
