Due to Covid, and while it was quiet, we were told to take our holiday as soon as possible. I originally planned to take a long weekend somewhere nearby however when I googled the word 'Long distance walking Wales' this route came up and I just went for it. It was a new route, so I didn't expect a lot of info, but luckily I found a book that covered the whole trail and anything I really needed. I changed my holiday plans from 5 days to 9 days, so I didn't have to rush it.

I usually spend several weeks if not months researching the route, accommodation, and dangers; for this, I had a full two weeks. After Scotland, the idea of wild camping was still very exciting so I created a small guide with possible wild camping spots, occasional campsite to recharge batteries, and actual warm showers. The proposed route was 6 days but I extended it to 8 days so I wouldn't have to rush and could enjoy the splendour and beauty of the area. The only thing left, that I couldn't plan for, was the weather; lucky it was absolutely perfect with a lot of sunshine .... AAAAHHH.

Traveling is my happy place—there's nothing quite like the thrill of being in the middle of nowhere with nothing but my backpack, the open trail, and my own thoughts. Give me 12 hours of hiking, a lot of water, a little food, and a whole lot of unknown, and I’m completely in my element. I’m proud to say I don’t exactly fit the mold—maybe I’m a little wild, definitely adventurous, possibly a bit of a lunatic, and 100% alive. I believe life is meant to be lived, not watched from the sidelines. So here I am, chasing joy, chasing trails, and occasionally chasing my own sanity.
Come along for the ride! Dive into my stories and see the world the way I do—one unforgettable adventure at a time.
